The Student Pre-Health Committee (SPHC)
The SPHC is a group of student leaders who work closely with CPHA to reach four goals: 1) connect health-related student orgs with one another, 2) work for health equity, 3) create opportunities for pre-health professional development, and 4) increase awareness about pre-health advising resources on our campus. The SPHC uses monthly meetings to meet goals 1 and 4, and to meet goals 2 and 3, they work closely with the Center for Pre-Health Advising to hold two events every year — the Health Equity Symposium in the fall and the Health Professions Expo in the spring.

The Campus Pre-Health Committee (CPHC)
The CPHC is comprised of student services professionals across campus who work with pre-health students and admissions representatives from UW-Madison health professional programs. The goal of this committee is to connect these groups in order to ensure that we provide the latest and most consistent guidance and support for students who are pursuing health professions. The committee provides direct feedback to CPHA on new programming and resources and is a collaborative partner on programs to address issues affecting our students such as wellness and exploring health careers.
