About Dija
Dija (she/they) has been with the Center for Pre-Health Advising since its inception in 2010 and serves as its Assistant Director. One of her roles is developing and maintaining the application courses on Canvas which support students preparing and applying to programs. Before joining the CPHA, she earned her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from UW-Madison, studying the intersection of pathogens, hosts and the environment. She is a first-generation college student who transitioned to pre-health advising to focus her efforts on supporting students in reaching their goals and hopes to bring transparency to the process of preparing and applying, and supporting their learning, growth and development.
