Hobbies and Interests

Hobbies and interests create a more complete picture of who you are. Combined with paid experience, volunteering, and being in community with others, they can help you gain experience and skills for your career.

Hobbies, interests, and values are ways to:

  • Connect with others
  • Try new things, fail, and try again! We develop resilience through our hobbies!
  • Learn to solve problems when things don’t work
  • Learn to work with others who are different than we are
